The eagerly-awaited Post Classic events, also run concurrently over three-laps, did not disappoint and Ryan Farquhar won the four-stroke category by 3m 29s ahead of fellow TT star Guy Martin on an almost identical Suzuki XR69. Dave Madsen-Mygdal was third, a further 3m adrift. |

TTXGP: Story behind the first crash |

David Madsen-Mygdal, 53, became the first person to crash a TTXGP entry on the TT course in Tuesday’s practice session, when he slid off the German eRockit Pro-class entry at Braddan.
The Douglas-based rider – the second oldest solo rider in the TT – says the bike’s electric motor locked up without warning, sending him sliding down the road, injuring his elbow, destroying his lid and bruising his hip.

Donington Park - Motosix Review |

Donington Park was the venue for the new MotoSix Nations Challenge, over a cool but sunny weekend. In the solo classes the Isle of Man had a strong team, made up of Gavin Hunt, Mark Cringle, Chris Palmer, Callum Collister, Stephen Oates, Dave Madsen-Mygdal, Tim Venables and Mark Madsen-Mygdal. They finished fifth overall with 667 points while Northern Ireland won the event with 347 points. |
